Nashua, N.H. – An 85-year-old Massachusetts man has died following a multi-vehicle crash Monday afternoon on the F.E. Everett Turnpike in Nashua.
According to New Hampshire State Police, troopers from the Troop B barracks responded at 2:48 p.m. to a crash involving a rollover near the 7E Exit on the northbound side of the highway.
Investigators said a white Audi Q5 traveling north rear-ended a Lexus ES, forcing the Lexus into a gray Ram 1500 pickup truck. The Lexus then rolled onto its side.
The driver of the Lexus, identified as Joseph Casper, 85, of South Boston, Massachusetts, was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. Authorities said the cause of his death remains under investigation.
The driver of the Audi, identified as Candice Maple, 17, of Dunstable, Massachusetts, was transported to the hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the Ram, identified as Brian Roberts, 50, of Churchill, Tennessee, sustained only minor injuries and did not require hospitalization.
