New Hampshire Motorcycle Accident Results in Serious Injuries, Road Closure

Dover, NH – A motorcyclist from Massachusetts was seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash on the Spaulding Turnpike on Wednesday evening. The crash occurred around 8:45 p.m. near Exit 7 in Dover, resulting in significant traffic delays as authorities responded to the scene.

According to New Hampshire State Police, 20-year-old Yorky Acosta Hernandez of Chicopee was traveling southbound on his 2004 Yamaha YZF-R6 when he lost control while negotiating a curve. The motorcycle veered off the left side of the road and struck a guardrail in the center median, causing Hernandez to be thrown from the vehicle.

The motorcycle continued to travel south before eventually coming to rest in the travel portion of the highway. Hernandez was transported by ambulance to a local hospital, where he is being treated for serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
