Claremont, NH – A pursuit in Claremont ended in a crash Tuesday night after a trooper attempted to stop a stolen vehicle.
According to the New Hampshire State Police, Trooper Michael Gilboy observed a vehicle failing to maintain its lane around 10:27 p.m. on Washington Street. The vehicle, reported stolen from Harrisville, fled when Gilboy activated his emergency lights. The driver, Anthony Wilson, 26, of Keene, NH, lost control and crashed.
Wilson was arrested and transported to Dartmouth Hitchcock for minor injuries. He faces multiple charges and is scheduled to appear in Claremont District Court on July 22. Authorities are seeking additional information about the incident and urge witnesses to contact Trooper Gilboy.
