
Meredith, NH – A 31-year-old man has died following a medical incident at Lake Winnipesaukee in Meredith Thursday afternoon.
According to New Hampshire State Police – Marine Patrol, officers responded just after 4 p.m. to reports of a water rescue near Pinnacle Park Road. Emergency personnel performed lifesaving efforts after pulling the man from the lake. He was transported to Concord Hospital-Laconia, where he was later pronounced deceased.
Based on the preliminary investigation, Marine Patrol officers believe the man experienced a medical-related incident while working in the water, causing him to fall face-down into the lake.
The man’s identity is currently being withheld pending notification of his family.
Marine Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Meredith Police and Fire Departments, as well as the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. The incident remains under investigation.
