Roxbury, NH – A Keene man has been arrested and charged following an alleged assault involving a 3D-printed weapon that left another man seriously injured. The incident occurred on July 22, 2024, at 2:07 p.m., when New Hampshire State Troopers were dispatched to the Otter Brook Dam in Roxbury after receiving a report of an assault.
Upon arrival, Troopers found an adult male suffering from serious injuries. According to the investigation, the assailant used 3D-printed knuckles, resembling brass knuckles, in the assault. After attacking the victim, the suspect allegedly took a backpack from the victim before fleeing the scene.
The investigation led to the identification of Joshua K. Abrams, 35, of Keene, as the suspect. On August 14, 2024, Keene Police Department officers executed an arrest warrant and took Abrams into custody. He is now facing charges of second-degree assault and robbery.
Abrams is expected to be arraigned in Keene District Court on Thursday, August 15, 2024, and is currently being held on preventative detention.
