New Hampshire I-93 Crash Today: Driver Found Dead After Fiery Wreck in Ashland

Ashland, NH – A driver was found dead early Sunday morning after a car crash and vehicle fire along Interstate 93 in Ashland, according to New Hampshire State Police.

At approximately 2:44 a.m. on Sunday, October 12, 2025, dispatchers received reports of a vehicle on fire about one mile south of Exit 24. Troopers from Troop F responded and discovered a 2023 Nissan Sentra fully engulfed in flames along the wood line off the southbound side of the highway.

According to State Police, the preliminary investigation indicates the driver was traveling south on I-93 when the car veered off the right side of the road, crashed, and caught fire. The driver, who was the sole occupant, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Authorities said the driver’s identity is being withheld pending formal identification and notification of next of kin.

Members of the Ashland Fire Department and Plymouth Fire & Rescue assisted troopers at the scene. Officials confirmed that all aspects of the crash remain under investigation.
