Nashua, NH – New Hampshire State Police are renewing attention to a decades-old disappearance, hoping the public can help solve the mystery of Dorothy Ann Bois, who was last seen in Nashua on October 4, 1973.
According to the Nashua Police Department, Bois was 22 years old, stood 4 feet 10 inches tall, and weighed around 100 pounds when she went missing. She lived at 100 Kinsley Street with her husband, Kenneth Bois, at the time she was last seen. Dorothy had brown hair and hazel eyes.
Police say that since her disappearance, friends and family have not had any contact with her. In March 2009, Nashua police reopened the case, leading investigators to execute search warrants at 247 Main Dunstable Road and 19 Woodbury Drive. Both searches were completed as part of the ongoing cold case review.
Authorities are again asking the public for help. Anyone with information about the disappearance of Dorothy Ann Bois is urged to contact the New Hampshire Cold Case Unit at coldcaseunit@dos.nh.gov or submit an anonymous tip through the state’s online Cold Case Tip Form.
