Epping, NH – A third suspect has been arrested in connection to a November 2023 assault outside a Portsmouth diner, authorities announced.

On Saturday, Shannon Goodwin, 39, of Dundalk, Maryland, turned herself in on a warrant issued by New Hampshire State Police. She faces three misdemeanor charges of simple assault and one count of disorderly conduct.

According to authorities, Goodwin surrendered at the Newington Police Department and was processed by Troop A of the New Hampshire State Police. She is scheduled to appear in Portsmouth District Court on March 24.

This follows the May 9 arrest of Kevin P. Goodwin, 41, also of Dundalk, Maryland, who turned himself in to Portsmouth Police on similar charges. Previously, Aaron Goodwin, 45, of Eliot, Maine, surrendered on March 15.

The arrests stem from an altercation reported on Nov. 22, 2023, at a diner on Fleet Street. Due to Aaron Goodwin’s prior affiliation with the Portsmouth Police Department, state authorities took over the investigation.
