Gray, ME – Active weather is set to hit New Hampshire and Maine again Monday afternoon, with severe storms and flash flooding predicted. The storms are expected to begin developing early to mid-afternoon across northern and central New Hampshire before moving eastward through the evening. Strong winds and hail will be the main threats from the stronger storms.

According to the US National Weather Service Gray ME, recent heavy rainfall has already saturated parts of the area. The expected storms could exacerbate runoff and lead to quicker flash flooding. Remote locations in northern New Hampshire and Maine that received significant rainfall earlier today are also at risk.

The National Weather Service has highlighted a moderate risk for severe weather and excessive rainfall for Monday and Tuesday. Residents in the affected areas are advised to stay updated on weather alerts and take necessary precautions. The forecast for Gray shows a 65% chance of rain today with temperatures reaching 83°F. Cooler weather is expected through the week, with additional chances of rain on Friday and Saturday.
