Boston, MA – A quiet stretch of weather is setting up across Massachusetts for midweek, with mostly dry and seasonably cool conditions expected Wednesday and Thursday before a shift toward more unsettled weather by Friday.
According to the National Weather Service in Boston, Wednesday will feature mostly sunny skies with highs reaching the low to mid-40s and light northwest winds. Overnight lows will settle into the mid-20s to mid-30s, typical for mid-November in New England.
Thursday remains calm as well, with highs again in the low to mid-40s and lows dipping into the low 30s to around 40 degrees. Skies will trend mostly cloudy, but no meaningful precipitation is expected.
By Friday, a change in the weather pattern will bring increasing clouds and widely scattered showers across the region. Temperatures will climb a bit higher, reaching the upper 40s to low 50s, before falling back into the low to mid-40s at night.
Forecasters say the late-week showers should remain light and scattered, but could briefly affect commuters and outdoor plans.
