Boston, Mass. – Massachusetts residents can expect another dry and mild day Monday, with partly cloudy skies and temperatures ranging from the upper 60s to the upper 70s across much of the state. Light easterly winds will keep conditions comfortable, but changes are on the way overnight.

According to the National Weather Service in Boston/Norton, clouds will thicken after sunset, with lows dipping into the upper 40s inland and the mid-50s closer to the coast. A weak disturbance offshore may push a few spot showers onto the South Coast, Cape Cod, and the Islands late tonight into Tuesday morning.

Communities such as New Bedford, Hyannis, and Nantucket face the greatest chance of seeing brief rain before dawn, while Boston, Worcester, and Springfield should stay dry but cloudier by daybreak. Drivers along Route 24 and I-195 may encounter damp pavement in the early morning hours, though widespread impacts are not expected.

Residents should prepare for a grayer Tuesday overall as cloud cover expands statewide. While rainfall chances remain low outside the South Coast, unsettled weather could linger into midweek.
