According to Delaware State Police, troopers responded around 11:15 p.m. on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, to the Motel 6 located at 100 McIntosh Plaza for a reported robbery. Preliminary findings indicate a woman met a man she had arranged to meet online. Shortly after the man arrived, another man approached the scene armed with a handgun.
Investigators say the suspects allegedly demanded the victim’s money and property before fleeing the area. The victim was not hurt during the incident.
The suspects are described as Black males and were last seen driving eastbound on Christiana Road in a dark-colored sedan, police said.
