LAS VEGAS — Celebrate the Christmas season with free, festive fun in Henderson beginning Thursday, Dec. 4, from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
On Thursday, Dec. 4, and Friday, Dec. 5, the city of Henderson will host its annual WinterFest at Water Street Plaza. The free family-friendly event kicks off with the annual tree lighting ceremony and drone show starting at 5 p.m. Festival goers can enjoy festive music from Ryan Shupe and the RubberBand, as well as the Coronado High School choir.
The dazzling eclectic light parade will be held on Friday, Dec. 5, 2025, from 6:30 p.m. along Water Street. The entire street gets lit up with festive cheer and magical costumes. There will be cash prizes for community members participating in the parade. The festival will also feature a Holiday Marketplace for Christmas shopping and a variety of food vendors to choose from.
With limited parking at the Water Street and Henderson City Hall garages and road closures on Water Street, attendees are encouraged to arrive early. Nearby residents are encouraged to walk, bike, or scooter to the event.
