LAS VEGAS, Nev. – The desert sky glows in soft pink and amber as dawn breaks over the Las Vegas Valley. Palms stand still in the dry air, and the Strip’s lights fade beneath the rising sun. It’s another calm, mild start for southern Nevada — the kind that makes early November feel more like late September.
The National Weather Service in Las Vegas reports that the region will continue its streak of clear, warm weather through Wednesday. Temperatures climb quickly from the low 60s at sunrise to afternoon highs in the low 80s — nearly 10 degrees above average for this time of year. Light southerly breezes keep the air comfortable, ideal for early-morning jogs or midweek travel.
By Tuesday and Wednesday, skies remain cloudless, and highs hover near 82°F to 83°F, marking one of the warmest stretches of November so far. Humidity stays low, and desert roads will see perfect driving conditions for visitors arriving ahead of Veterans Day events this weekend.
Changes arrive late in the week. A weak system brushing the Great Basin could nudge highs down slightly by Thursday and Friday, bringing upper 70s and crisp, starry nights. Even then, no rain is expected — just the kind of dry cool-down that hints the desert is inching closer to winter’s edge.
As the rest of the country braces for frost and early snow, southern Nevada holds on to a postcard-perfect week — sunny, warm, and worry-free, at least for now.
