LAS VEGAS, Nev. – Bright city lights meet a clear desert sky this Tuesday morning as the Las Vegas Valley settles into a quiet, steady stretch of warm fall weather. Highs near the low 80s will dominate through Thursday, giving southern Nevada one of its most pleasant stretches of the season before a noticeable cooldown arrives next week.

According to the National Weather Service in Las Vegas, clear skies and light winds will persist across Clark County, with highs reaching 83 degrees Tuesday and 80 by Thursday. Nights stay comfortable, hovering around 60 degrees. Winds shift slightly midweek, turning from the west to southeast, but remain too light to raise dust concerns along I-15 or U.S. 95.

The dry pattern continues through the workweek, ideal for outdoor projects, golf, and evening events on the Strip. By Saturday, however, a shallow trough sliding in from the Pacific may nudge temperatures down several degrees and bring a brief period of gustier winds north of the valley. Models hint at a more significant cool push next week, potentially introducing the first hint of a fall cold snap for higher desert elevations near Pahrump and Searchlight.

Through the weekend, skies remain mostly sunny, with highs around the upper 70s and lows dipping into the upper 50s—a clear sign of fall’s quiet approach. For now, Las Vegas continues its winning streak of calm, golden October days before a touch of November chill finally slips across the Mojave.
