Las Vegas, Nevada – Dangerously high temperatures will return to Las Vegas on Tuesday, July 15, with 110°F heat and wind gusts up to 28 mph expected to challenge residents and travelers alike.

According to the National Weather Service, Tuesday’s high will climb near 110°F with winds increasing through the afternoon. Gusts up to 28 mph from the south could create hazardous driving conditions, especially along I-15, where blowing dust and heat-related vehicle issues remain concerns. This marks the third consecutive day of triple-digit temperatures, with no significant cooling expected until early next week.

By Wednesday, Las Vegas will remain under a Summer Weather Alert as the high hits 106°F, followed by 103°F Thursday and a rebound to 107°F by Sunday. Temperatures overnight offer little relief, staying in the low 80s throughout the week. The persistent heat raises the risk of power strain, especially for residents relying on air conditioning.

Locals are urged to limit outdoor activity, hydrate regularly, and check on vulnerable neighbors. Cooling centers are open across Clark County. Pet owners should avoid walking animals on hot pavement during peak hours.

A slight chance of thunderstorms Thursday night into Saturday may offer brief reprieve, but forecasters caution that humidity could increase discomfort without lowering temps significantly.
