Tuesday delivers a stronger Spring Tease. Highs surge to 64 degrees under full sun, and southwest winds increase to 10 mph. It feels mild for early March, especially with longer daylight building each evening.
Changes arrive Wednesday. The National Weather Service calls for a 30 percent chance of rain between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Snow levels hover near 6,200 feet, keeping valley precipitation mainly rain but bringing fresh snow to Sierra passes.
