According to the US National Weather Service in Elko, smoke from a southern wildfire is moving towards Tonopah, exacerbating the conditions in northern Nevada.
Today’s weather in Elko is mostly sunny with a high of 87°F. This week, temperatures will continue to rise, reaching a peak of 99°F on Friday. Monday and Tuesday will see highs of 90°F and 85°F, respectively, with clear skies throughout. Wednesday’s temperature will return to 90°F, and Thursday will see a significant increase to 97°F. The week will conclude with highs of 99°F on Friday and 95°F on Saturday.
