According to the National Weather Service in Las Vegas, the city will see highs of 107°F Monday and 108°F Tuesday, with overnight lows staying well above 80°F. Winds may gust up to 22 mph Tuesday afternoon as hot, dry air dominates southern Nevada. A slight chance of thunderstorms returns Wednesday and Thursday, with 20% rain chances mainly after 11 a.m.
Residents across Clark County—including Paradise, Sunrise Manor, and Henderson—should limit outdoor activity, stay hydrated, and avoid peak sun hours from 2 to 6 p.m. NV Energy advises monitoring usage to prevent grid strain, while local health officials remind residents to check on elderly neighbors and pets.
The upcoming Independence Day holiday will also bring intense heat, with highs near 103°F on July 4. Fireworks users are urged to follow safety guidelines and stay alert to changing weather conditions, especially if storms develop midweek.
