LAS VEGAS, Nev. – Warm, golden sunshine continues to hold strong across southern Nevada this week, giving residents and travelers several perfect fall days to enjoy. Afternoon highs near 85 degrees through Tuesday will make for comfortable outdoor plans, from early Halloween decorating to family pumpkin patch visits.

According to the National Weather Service Las Vegas, skies will stay clear with light northwest winds between 5 and 10 mph. The pattern favors steady warmth and dry conditions through midweek, with no rain expected across Clark County. Motorists on I-15 and I-515 can expect smooth travel and excellent visibility during both morning and evening commutes.

By Wednesday, temperatures will edge close to 89 degrees before a modest dip late week. The warm stretch is typical for early October but still notable after last week’s cooler mornings. Residents are urged to stay hydrated, wear sunscreen, and check their vehicle fluids as the daytime heat lingers. Outdoor events, construction projects, and school sports will all benefit from the stable weather.

The next slight change may arrive by late Thursday or Friday as a weak system brushes the western deserts. Any clouds or stray showers are expected to stay light and brief. Overall, southern Nevada enters October under some of the most stable and enjoyable fall weather conditions in the country—ideal for decorating yards, exploring Red Rock Canyon, or prepping for Halloween early.
