Las Vegas, Nevada – Triple-digit heat returns to southern Nevada on Sunday, bringing dangerous daytime highs across Las Vegas and surrounding Clark County cities. The heat intensifies through midweek, prompting urgent summer safety reminders for anyone traveling along I-15 or working outdoors.

According to the National Weather Service, Las Vegas will reach 104°F on Sunday, June 8, with little overnight relief. Temperatures are expected to rise further, hitting 106°F Monday and peaking at 107°F Tuesday. Light southeast winds offer minimal cooling, and nighttime lows will only drop into the low 80s.

Sunday through Tuesday presents the highest risk for heat-related illness, particularly for vulnerable populations and outdoor workers. Officials urge residents to drink water frequently, avoid strenuous activity between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., and never leave children or pets in vehicles. Local cooling stations are available and updated through city emergency management channels.

While skies remain clear through Friday, June 13, daytime highs stay firmly in the triple digits. Here’s the 5-day heat outlook:

  • Saturday (June 7): High 101°F, sunny
  • Sunday: High 104°F, calm southeast winds
  • Monday: High 106°F, mostly clear
  • Tuesday: High 107°F, light breeze
  • Wednesday: Slight dip to 105°F before easing to 103°F Thursday and 100°F Friday
