Reno, NV – Commuters on US 395 northbound in Reno are facing significant delays this morning after a crash reduced traffic to a single lane near Parr Boulevard.

According to the Nevada State Police, the incident occurred around 7:05 a.m. Monday, September 29, 2025. The crash involved a single commercial motor vehicle that is currently blocking the number one travel lane, also known as the left lane.

Police say the crash resulted in property damage but no reported injuries. Recovery crews are working on clearing the roadway, but drivers should expect delays lasting one to two hours during the morning commute.

The lane reduction is impacting traffic flow through Washoe County, with backups reported near downtown Reno and extending south toward the I-80 interchange. Nevada State Police are advising drivers to seek alternate routes or plan extra travel time until the roadway is fully reopened.

Traffic alerts and updates will continue to be posted through the Nevada State Police social media pages as the situation develops.

Drivers in the area should use caution, follow posted traffic control signs, and be alert for emergency crews working in the area.

This crash comes as US 395 remains one of the busiest commuter corridors in northern Nevada, connecting Reno to Carson City and serving as a primary north-south travel route.
