Emergency officials are urging residents to avoid unnecessary travel during peak afternoon hours, particularly on heavily trafficked corridors like I-15 and U.S. Route 95.

According to the National Weather Service, Sunday’s high will hit 105°F under sunny skies, with wind gusts reaching 23 mph. Conditions stay hot overnight with lows only dipping to the low 80s, offering minimal relief for vulnerable populations, especially the elderly and unsheltered.
