Las Vegas, NV – Las Vegas is staring down a dangerous stretch of triple-digit heat, with temperatures expected to soar to 109°F by Monday, intensifying the risk for heat-related illness and fire danger across Clark County.
According to the National Weather Service in Las Vegas, widespread haze will linger through Tuesday afternoon, followed by an extended heat wave starting Wednesday. Highs will rise from 99°F midweek to 106°F by Saturday and could peak at 109°F on Monday. Overnight lows in the upper 70s and low 80s will offer little relief.
Cities across the Las Vegas Valley—including Paradise, Henderson, and Summerlin—will see relentless sunshine and minimal wind, increasing heat stress, especially for outdoor workers and the unhoused population. Residents are urged to limit outdoor activity between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m., stay hydrated, and check on vulnerable neighbors.
No precipitation is expected, and calm winds from the southeast may worsen air quality later this week. Though no official advisory has been posted yet, an Excessive Heat Warning could be issued if conditions persist.
Temperatures will remain dangerously hot through at least Monday, with the next major update expected by Thursday morning.
