Nevada Christmas Shines as Las Vegas Casinos Transform the Strip

LAS VEGAS — The Strip is about to get even brighter this Christmas as some of Las Vegas’ most famous casinos prepare for their annual holiday transformations.

The casinos and resorts along the infamous Strip are known for their glitzy lights, but even more so at Christmas time. Throughout the holiday season, many casinos transform the desert into a Christmas wonderland. 

Bellagio Hotel and Casino

Each year, the Bellagio transforms into a themed holiday spectacle. The festive display takes place in the Conservatory and Botanical Gardens and will likely feature a large-scale floral display with the still-to-be-announced theme. 

The displays usually run from November to early January and are free to visit. Last year’s display featured a 45-foot holiday tree topped with a Swarovski star and more than 8,000 ornaments. To avoid the crowds, it’s recommended to visit just after opening or early evening.  

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas

The rooftop Boulevard Pool at the Cosmopolitan transforms into a winter wonderland with an ice rink, fire pits, and “snow” showers. Visitors can stroll along the holiday village set up under the twinkling lights. 

While the 2025 dates are still to be confirmed, previous years’ events have run from November through early January.

Caesars Palace (via its neighbouring Forum Shops)

The iconic 35-foot Christmas tree is set to make a return to the Festival Court at The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace. Each year, the Roman-themed environment is decorated with dozens of lights and custom installations.
