LAS VEGAS — Each year, several Las Vegas resorts magically transform the city almost overnight from Thanksgiving into full Christmas mode.
The period between Thanksgiving and Christmas is a special time in Las Vegas. Within days of the Thanksgiving weekend, Christmas lights and spectacular festive displays pop up across the city, with places like the Venetian and the Bellagio leading the charge.
Bellagio Resort and Casino
Each year, the Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens is transformed into a large Christmas display with thousands of sparkly lights, elaborate floral sculptures with classic poinsettias, and a towering Christmas tree.
The 2025 holiday display runs from November 15, 2025, through January 3, 2026, marking the official start of the festive season on the Strip.
The Venetian Resort
The “Winter in Venice” is a recurring seasonal celebration of twinkling Christmas decorations, snowflakes, and a decked-out Christmas tree. In previous years, there has been an ice skating rink above the Venetians’ outdoor Grand Canal and lots of festive entertainment.
While the official dates for the display have yet to be announced, previous years started from November 18.
