LAS VEGAS — Downtown Summerlin is hosting a number of annual community events and cultural programs this holiday season.
There’s always something fun happening at Downtown Summerlin. Throughout the year, this outdoor shopping and entertainment center holds exciting programs that celebrate different cultures like Christmas, Halloween, and the Lunar New Year. This November and December, there are some fun events planned.
Rock Rink
Enjoy winter magic at the 8,000-square-foot real ice-skating rink. Skaters can glide across the ice under the twinkling lights and the impressive holiday tree. Signature festive drinks are available from Sterling’s Cocoa Trailer.
The rink opened Nov. 7 and will remain open through Jan. 19, 2026. Tickets for a skating session start at $18.
Downtown Summerlin Holiday Parade
Each year, the streets of Las Vegas are lit up by the Downtown Summerlin Holiday Parade, which runs every Friday and Saturday at 6 p.m. from Nov. 21 through Dec. 22.
There are dazzling lights, festive dancers, snow flurries, and even an appearance from Santa. This family-friendly event is free.
Hanukkah Celebration
Downtown Summerlin and Jewish Nevada have partnered to celebrate Hanukkah this year on Dec. 21 from 4 to 6 p.m. This family-friendly event will feature a menorah lighting, kids’ activities, and other festive entertainment.
The illuminated menorah will be available to visit at the Dining Arroyo throughout the Hanukkah season.
