LAS VEGAS — Communities in the Valley are coming together to support those in need during the Christmas season.

Christmas is a season of joy, warmth, and celebration. But for many, it can be a period of hardship. This year, several charity drives offer an opportunity to support those in need while celebrating the spirit of Christmas.

HELP of Southern Nevada — Toy and Gift Card Drive

Each year, HELP of Southern Nevada holds a toy and gift card drive for families in need. Last year, residents filled more than 42 trucks with new toys and donated nearly $787,000 in monetary gifts, helping about 2,700 households across Southern Nevada.

Families can support the charity organization by attending the Ethel M Holiday Cactus Garden Lights, running from Nov. 6–Jan. 3 from 5 to 10 p.m. A portion of the $3 entry fee will be donated to HELP of Southern Nevada.

It Takes A Village: Santa’s Holiday Market

On Dec. 6, 2025, Mission Possible Charity will host a Holiday Market focused on giving back to the local community. Partnering with The Just One Project and through the Hammer of Hope initiative, the event will feature a toy & food drive where locals can donate new, unwrapped toys and nonperishable food items.

The market will be held at 365 E. Windmill Lane, Las Vegas, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Admission is free, though donations are encouraged.

Las Vegas Rescue Mission — Christmas Toy Donation

The Las Vegas Rescue Mission is holding a Christmas toy donation program. Participants can donate new, unwrapped toys to LVRM at 480 West Bonanza Road or host a collection drive at their local church or workplace.

Gifts should be no more than $25, and gifts for children 9 -18 are most needed. All gifts must be donated before Dec. 16, 2025.

U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots

The Marine Corps Reserve is hosting its Toys for Tots drive. Participants can host a community toy drive or contribute virtually through the program’s Amazon Wishlist or YouGiveGoods page.

Hosts have until November 15th to submit their entry. Participants have until December 4th to purchase from YouGiveGoods and until December 12th to purchase from the Amazon wishlist.
