LAS VEGAS — Residents across the Las Vegas Valley are celebrating Christmas early this year with seasonal cookie orders.
Cookies are a popular dessert in America, as evidenced by chain brands like Crumbl, which started as a side hustle and has since become a billion-dollar company. Las Vegas has a vibrant cookie scene, making these small treats a sought-after gift option this holiday season.
Freed’s Bakery
This three-generation, family-owned bakery has been a local favorite since 1959 and continues to lead with its traditional Christmas cookies. Buttery short dough cookies cut into festive shapes are topped with fondant.
Starting at $43.80 per dozen, the cookies come in a variety of shapes and are individually bagged, making them a perfect gift for Christmas. The cookies are baked to order, and the pre-order window for December is now open. Pre-orders require a 72-hour notice.
Rolling in Dough Bakery
For more than 50 years, this family-owned bakery has been serving a blend of artistry and original recipes. This year’s lineup includes Christmas sugar cookies, gingerbread men, and a holiday butter cookie box.
The assorted Christmas sugar cookies, decorated with royal icing, are sold individually or in sets of six, starting at $10 per cookie. The bakery advises customers to place their orders early, as popular designs sell out quickly.
The Cookie Bar
When it comes to seasonal cookies, the Cookie Bar is a top choice. The bakery offers a wide range of cookie boxes and even custom options that reflect the growing trend of custom gifting this Christmas.
The Gourmet Greetings Box features a large 6-inch chocolate chip cookie personalized with a photo, quote, or holiday design, along with five custom-designed “Suga Suga” cookies for $75. Pre-orders open a year in advance with a Dec. 1 deadline for Christmas orders.
