Omaha, NE – Scattered showers and thunderstorms are forecasted for Nebraska through early next week, with temperatures remaining below normal. However, severe storms are not expected during this period.
According to the US National Weather Service Omaha/Valley Nebraska, today’s temperatures will range between 72 and 78 degrees, accompanied by a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Sunday will see a slight rise in temperatures, reaching 75 to 80 degrees, with continued chances of showers and thunderstorms.
Moving into Monday, temperatures are expected to climb to 78 to 81 degrees, with lingering thunderstorms still in the forecast. By Tuesday, temperatures will rise further to 80 to 85 degrees, with spotty lingering showers expected.
The midweek outlook improves significantly, with Wednesday bringing mostly sunny skies and warmer temperatures between 84 and 88 degrees. This trend of dry weather and warming temperatures is expected to continue through the rest of the week, with Thursday’s temperatures forecasted to reach up to 88 degrees under sunny skies. The warming trend continues into Friday and Saturday, with highs nearing 90 degrees.
