Omaha, NE – A series of powerful storms struck northeast Nebraska last night, spawning multiple tornadoes and causing extensive damage across several communities.
According to the US National Weather Service Omaha/Valley Nebraska, storm survey teams have been dispatched today to evaluate the damage in affected areas, including parts of Norfolk, Columbus, and Fremont.
The survey, set for June 16, 2024, aims to identify the extent of destruction and help coordinate relief efforts. Meteorologists are urging residents to report any additional damage not already documented.
