Commuters on I-80 and I-29 should prepare for sudden visibility loss and ponding on roadways.
Localized flooding will be the primary hazard, with scattered power outages also possible. Residents are urged to avoid flooded intersections and secure loose outdoor items. Evening storms could persist through 10 p.m., with the heaviest rainfall expected between 5 and 9 p.m.
