Nebraska State Patrol Arrests Two in Chase County Drug Investigation

North Platte, NE – Two individuals were arrested in rural Lamar, Nebraska, on Wednesday during an ongoing narcotics investigation led by the Nebraska State Patrol.

According to the Nebraska State Patrol, investigators executed a search warrant at a residence in Chase County, where both occupants voluntarily exited the home and were taken into custody. The search uncovered 16 grams of methamphetamine, eight ounces of marijuana, 12 firearms, and two stolen motorcycles.

Kenneth Johnston, 45, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for distribution of a controlled substance. Additional charges included possession of methamphetamine, marijuana, and stolen property, as well as being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm, possession of a stolen vehicle, and conspiracy to commit theft. He is being held at the Lincoln County Jail. Lindsey Bartorelli, 39, was arrested on an outstanding theft warrant and is lodged in Chase County Jail.

The operation involved multiple Nebraska State Patrol units, including the SWAT Team, and was supported by the CODE Task Force, Lincoln Police Department, and the Chase County Sheriff’s Office.
