According to the National Weather Service in Omaha, an 80% chance of rain begins Sunday morning, with southeast winds shifting north and gusting to 23 mph. Drivers along I-29 and near Eppley Airfield should expect periods of reduced visibility and wet roads through Sunday evening. Monday offers some relief, but spring showers return midweek with possible thunderstorms by Thursday.
Sunday (Easter) brings widespread showers with a high near 52°F. Winds will shift northwest by evening at 10–13 mph, gusting up to 28 mph. Up to an inch of rain is possible.
Monday improves, mostly sunny with a high of 70°F and calmer winds.
Tuesday turns partly sunny with another round of rain possible late. High: 76°F.
Wednesday holds a 40% chance of rain, with highs in the upper 70s and breezy east winds.
Thursday night could see thunderstorms, as the chance for rain jumps to 50%.
