Blytheville, AR – A Nebraska man was arrested Monday in connection with a head-on crash in Arkansas that killed a mother and her child.
Robert Charles Sena, 40, of Bellevue, Nebraska, was charged with two counts of negligent homicide and driving left of center. The crash occurred on October 27, 2023, on Highway 18, west of Blytheville.
According to Arkansas State Police, Sena, then a resident of Lake City, Arkansas, crossed the center line in his Chevrolet Silverado. He collided head-on with a Ford Edge driven by Ramira Rogers, 34, of Blytheville. Rogers and her 8-year-old passenger died in the crash. A second minor in the vehicle sustained injuries. Witnesses reported Sena’s driving was aggressive and erratic before the crash.
Toxicology results from January revealed Sena had methamphetamine in his system during the crash. He was arrested Monday and booked into the Mississippi County Detention Center.
Sena now faces serious charges for the crash that devastated an Arkansas family and community.
