Temperatures drop sharply behind the system. Saturday stays cold and breezy, with highs struggling near the mid-teens. Sunday starts frigid, though sunshine helps temperatures recover into the 30s. Wind chills Saturday and Sunday mornings fall into the single digits and teens below zero, making it feel biting outside.
Drivers should plan extra time, keep both hands on the wheel during gusts, and watch for sudden slick spots where blowing snow settles. Dress in layers and limit exposure during the coldest periods.
