However, the outlook improves significantly as the day wears on, with clearer skies expected by the evening.

Afternoon temperatures are set to reach around 75°F by 3 PM, providing a comfortable setting for outdoor activities. The evening will see temperatures drop slightly to 66°F by 10 PM, with the rain chances decreasing further.

The forecast also indicates small rain chances late this afternoon into the evening, primarily affecting northeast Nebraska and southwest Iowa. According to the National Weather Service, river levels along the Missouri River have crested and are slowly falling, except at Rulo, where a slight rise was noted early this morning.

Looking ahead, the weather for the rest of the week promises more stable conditions. Friday will see mostly sunny skies with a high of 80°F and a low of 61°F. Saturday and Sunday will continue with pleasant weather, featuring highs of 82°F and 81°F, respectively, and lows in the low 60s.
