Omaha, NE – Omaha residents can expect a mix of clouds and sunshine over the next few days as temperatures gradually climb towards a hot weekend. The National Weather Service forecasts a cloudy morning with temperatures in the mid-60s, followed by some clearing skies by mid-afternoon. Highs today are expected to reach around 80 degrees.

According to the latest forecast, Thursday will bring similar conditions, with a high of 80 degrees under partly cloudy skies. Temperatures will continue to rise through the weekend, with Friday reaching a high of 83 degrees.

By Saturday, Omaha could see temperatures soar to 90 degrees, and the heat is expected to peak on Sunday with a high of 97 degrees. The heatwave will continue into Monday, with temperatures remaining in the mid-90s. Cooler weather will return on Thursday with a high near 82 degrees.
