Cleveland, OH – A stretch of unsettled weather will move through Northeast Ohio and Northwest Pennsylvania today before conditions clear and temperatures rise heading into the weekend.
According to the National Weather Service Cleveland, scattered showers are expected across the region through mid-afternoon Thursday, September 25. Skies will gradually dry out overnight, though patchy fog is likely to develop in low-lying areas. Daytime highs are forecast to range between 70–75 degrees, with evening lows dipping into the mid-50s.
Forecasters say conditions will improve Friday as high pressure builds across the Great Lakes. Clouds will decrease, and temperatures are expected to reach 72–77 degrees. By Saturday, September 27, mostly sunny skies will dominate with highs in the mid to upper 70s.
The NWS cautions that cool nighttime temperatures in the low 50s may still lead to pockets of fog, especially in rural valleys. Motorists are advised to use caution during the early morning hours.
Residents across Cleveland, Akron, Erie, and surrounding communities can expect a noticeable warm-up for weekend outdoor plans, with dry conditions likely persisting into early next week.
