NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A refreshing change arrives Sunday as cooler, drier air settles across Middle Tennessee, offering the region its first real taste of fall. Temperatures will run below normal throughout the upcoming week, with crisp mornings and mild afternoons.
According to the National Weather Service in Nashville, a cold front will move through Sunday, dropping highs into the upper 70s and low 80s while overnight lows fall into the upper 50s and even low 50s in some spots. Cities like Crossville and Cookeville will feel the sharpest drop, where lows dip to the lower 50s by Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. Nashville, which hit 91 degrees Saturday, will see highs near 82 by midweek, paired with overnight lows around 59.
