Nashville, TN – A Nashville woman died Monday after a domestic dispute led to gunfire at a Scalf Drive home, police said.

According to the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, Keiona Wilson, 42, was fatally shot during a confrontation with Keosha Greer, 42, who is reportedly in a relationship with Wilson’s husband. The incident occurred early Monday morning.

Police said Wilson drove to the residence after spotting her husband’s car there. She allegedly moved the car with a key and knocked on the front door. Greer then began speaking to Wilson through the home’s surveillance speaker. The two women argued before Wilson allegedly tried to force her way inside, prompting Greer to fire a shot into the storm door. Wilson was not struck and entered the home, where the women reportedly fought.

During the struggle, Greer allegedly fired a second shot, striking Wilson in the abdomen. Wilson managed to flee the home, drive a short distance in her husband’s car, and flag down an officer outside the Madison Precinct. She was rushed to Skyline Medical Center, where she later died.

Authorities said no charges have been filed against Greer at this time. The District Attorney’s Office is reviewing the case and will determine whether charges are appropriate after further investigation.

Police have not released additional information regarding Wilson’s husband or his role in the incident. Detectives continue to gather evidence and interview witnesses.
