Nashville, TN – A warm and quiet start to the weekend is underway across Middle Tennessee before a more active and wetter weather pattern settles in beginning late Sunday and continuing through much of next week.
According to the National Weather Service in Nashville, Friday will feature sunny skies with highs in the upper 60s to mid-70s, providing ideal conditions for outdoor plans. Overnight lows will dip into the upper 40s to mid-50s.
Warm weather continues Saturday, with highs climbing into the upper 60s and upper 70s across the region. While most of the day stays dry, forecasters note that a slight rain chance—10 to 50 percent depending on location—could develop later in the afternoon or evening as a weak system approaches.
Sunday turns mostly sunny again, with highs in the low 60s to low 70s, but the quiet weather won’t last. According to the weather service, rain chances increase Sunday night as a more organized pattern of moisture begins to push into Middle Tennessee.
That wetter pattern dominates next week. Rain becomes more likely Monday, with probabilities ranging from 20 to 50 percent, and continues Tuesday with a 40 to 70 percent chance of showers across the region. Highs remain mild in the 60s both days, while lows climb into the mid-40s to mid-50s.
By Wednesday and Thursday, additional systems are expected to pass through, keeping rain chances elevated—30 to 70 percent depending on the day and location. Temperatures hold steady, with highs in the upper 50s to near 70 degrees.
Residents planning early holiday travel or outdoor events next week should prepare for frequent rounds of rain and occasional pockets of heavier showers.
