Nashville, TN – The National Weather Service in Nashville says Middle Tennessee will see another round of rain and thunderstorms late Monday into Tuesday, before a strong cold front ushers in much cooler air just ahead of Thanksgiving.
Temperatures will remain mild through Tuesday, with highs in the mid-60s to low 70s, but gusty winds are likely as the front approaches. The chance of severe storms is low, though brief heavy rain and lightning will be possible during the overnight hours into Tuesday morning.
By Wednesday night, colder air will sweep into the region, bringing overnight lows in the 40s and daytime highs in the low to mid-50s for the Thanksgiving holiday.
Forecasters note that while the weather may turn brisk, no significant travel disruptions are expected across the state.
