Naperville, IL – A loud explosion startled residents near Washington Street and Olympus Drive on Tuesday night. A 25-year-old Bolingbrook man reported his vehicle had exploded in the parking lot of Pioneer Park, located at 1212 S. Washington Street.
According to the Naperville Police Department, officers arrived at approximately 9:33 p.m. and found a mangled vehicle and the injured caller. The Naperville Fire Department transported the man to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
