Naperville, Ill. — The Naperville Park District shared that it will be hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony on July 15 for the new White Eagle Park playground.
The park is located near the White Eagle Golf Club off of Route 59, was scheduled for a renovation project. The project began with the White Eagle Park Play Equipment Survey that was sent to residents in February 2025. The neighborhood residents were invited to give feedback on a design for the new playground. The selected design was posted to the park district website before construction began. The playground project work began in April 2025 and ended in June of this year.Â
The ribbon cutting ceremony will be on July 15 at 5:00 p.m. Residents are invited to enjoy a ceremony and light refreshments as they explore and try the new playground equipment.
