Naperville, IL – A grave incident unfolded in Naperville, IL, where a single-vehicle crash led to a fatality.
The Naperville Police Department reports that the accident happened on Sunday, January 7, 2024, around 6:15 a.m. on Naper Boulevard, near Bayhill Avenue. A 2004 Nissan, driven by a 62-year-old Naperville resident, veered off the road and struck a tree. Both the driver and the 57-year-old passenger were critically injured and taken to a local hospital, where the passenger later died.
The Naperville Police Traffic Unit is investigating the crash, and the identities of those involved are withheld pending further investigation. The police urge anyone with information to contact the Traffic Unit at (630) 420-8833.
