Naperville, Illinois — Tonight, July 22, the Naperville Park District is celebrating the reopening of the newly renovated Willowgate Square Park.
The park district invited residents to join the celebration tonight at Willowgate starting at 5:00 p.m. There will be light refreshments available.
The park renovation was made possible in part by support from Representative Janet Yang Rohr. Rohr supported a grant from the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity to help fund the park’s renovation.
Willowgate Square Park is one of three that the Naperville Park District has been working to renovate this summer. A ribbon cutting ceremony was held at White Eagle Park just last week on July 15. The ceremony for the reopening of Rose Hill Farms Park will be August 5.
