Texarkana, TX – Tornadoes, including one with 90 mph winds, struck Texarkana and nearby regions on Monday, causing damage but no injuries.
According to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Shreveport, the tornado in Texarkana was an EF-1, touching down at 5:17 PM and lasting two minutes.
Northwest of Fouke, AR, another EF-1 tornado with 100 mph winds traveled 2.33 miles from 4:45 PM to 4:49 PM. South of Fouke, an EF-1 tornado with 95 mph winds spanned 6.39 miles from 4:19 PM to 4:34 PM. Southwest of Gin City, AR, an EF-0 tornado with 74 mph winds covered nearly a mile from 4:11 PM to 4:16 PM.
The NWS reported no injuries or fatalities.
