Mount Dora, FL: $200K Equipment Theft Under Investigation

Mount Dora, Florida – Detectives are seeking help identifying a suspect after more than $200,000 in equipment and copper wiring was reported stolen from a Mount Dora business.

According to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office, Primoris T & D Services in Mount Dora has been burglarized on multiple occasions. On Jan. 13, locks on several bucket trucks were cut and miscellaneous tools were taken.

The most recent burglary occurred overnight Jan. 21, authorities said.

Investigators released surveillance images showing a white male walking alongside a bicycle. The individual was described as wearing camouflage shorts, a black shirt, black sneakers, a black hat and carrying a backpack.

In total, officials estimate the losses exceed $200,000 in equipment and copper wiring.
