Motorcycle Collision with Tree in West Fargo Sends Rider to Hospital

West Fargo, ND – A serious motorcycle crash on Sheyenne Street in West Fargo resulted in significant injuries for the rider on Friday evening. Brandon Sorenson, operating a Kawasaki motorcycle, was traveling southbound at a high rate of speed when he lost control while rounding a curve.

According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at approximately 5:02 PM on the 3300 block of Sheyenne Street. Sorenson’s motorcycle jumped the curb, entered the west ditch, and struck a tree, causing him to be thrown from the vehicle. The motorcycle came to rest on its side in the ditch.

Sorenson sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries from the crash and was promptly transported by ambulance to Sanford Hospital. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the accident.
